Overview

There has been mounting interest in entrepreneurship as an economic development strategy. Governments, business groups, universities, and other key community and regional leaders in Pakistan have realized the need to build and to grow an entrepreneurial climate to support an environment for entrepreneurs for future growth and prosperity of the country. It is universally accepted that Small and Medium enterprises make a significant contribution to the economy.

At LUMS, there has been a great deal of interest and demand both from external and internal sources to commence delivery of courses in the area of Entrepreneurship in our full time programmes as well as through the Executive Development Education.

In response to this demand LUMS Entrepreneurship & SME Centre was established approximately ten years ago and has now been expanded, which has five main components:
