Dr. Rana has published
papers in Computer & Operations Research, European
Journal of Operations
Research, Journal of the Operational Research
Society, International
Journal of Supply Chain Management and Malaysian Journal of Small
and Medium Enterprises. His research interests are
in the areas of supply chain management, productivity and project management.
He has done work related to improving quality, productivity and
inventory management practices for companies in the knitwear and leather industries.
He has been Consultant/Academic Advisor for a couple of
Universities, where he helped them develop and implement new systems
for faculty evaluation and development, as well
as upgrading their curriculum and facilities. He is currently
heading the Textile Productivity initiative at LUMS.
